Mom Would Not Approve of This Photo Album!
Let's just say Mom wasn't exactly a fan of having her picture taken, and we're pretty sure she'd have a few things to say about some of the photos we've shared!
Sometimes her hair had lost the battle with Florida's humidity, alot of times she was recovering from a hospital stay, and sometimes she simply wasn't in the mood for a camera. But here's the thing, Mom: Life wasn't always picture-perfect, and neither were the photos. But the moments? Those were priceless.
So, with all our love (and a little forgiveness), we're sharing them anyway. Because every photo holds a memory worth keeping. 🌹

Old Friends, Matching Walkers, and Lots of Laughter ❤️
When Esther, one of Mom's oldest and dearest friends, came to visit her in Florida, the two had an absolutely wonderful time reconnecting.
You may notice the significant bruising on Mom's face. She had taken a fall and injured her orbital bone, but thankfully recovered. In true Rosie fashion, she reassured us that it looked much worse than it felt!
But the real story of this photo is the joy these two shared. One of the funniest moments of Esther's visit came when they discovered they had matching walkers! The laughter that followed became one of our favorite memories from their time together.
Years of friendship, a few extra bumps along the road, and still finding reasons to laugh. That's what makes this photo so special. 🌹

We're not quite sure how Junior managed to sneak this photo past Mom, but we're so glad he did! Mom was serving looks in that beautiful outfit, while Junior was serving up amazing food with a table beautifully set for special guests. Between Mom's style and Junior's hospitality, everything about this moment was picture-perfect! 💕

Little Ezra, Big Love!
Four years ago, baby Ezra was busy melting Mom's heart and stealing it right before our eyes! Just look at her face. The love, the tenderness, the pure joy—it's all there. No words needed. This is one of those precious moments when a photograph captures exactly what the heart is feeling. 💕

Double the cuteness, double the love! Baby Ezra and baby Ezara sharing a precious moment together. These two have been inseparable since birth, and what a joy it has been to watch their special bond grow. Two little sweethearts making memories together from the very beginning! 💕

What a treat! All three sisters together in one beautiful photo. From left to right: Altagracia “Altie,” Grace “Chela,” and Mom—with Sasha, of course! We couldn't leave out Mom's faithful little companion, who was never too far from her side.

Love at First Sight! ❤️
You can tell Sam was trying her best to stay out of sight while capturing this tender moment between Mom and Isabella “Bella,” Sam's firstborn. These two bonded right away, and the love between them was something special from the very beginning. Thankfully, Sam managed to capture this sweet moment without interrupting the magic! 💕

From the other photos, we believe this was Mom’s quinceañera! Finding these pictures was such a joyful surprise for us kids — a beautiful little glimpse into Mom’s life before we came along. ❤️

What a treat it was to find Mom's junior high school photo! Even back then, she knew how to put an outfit together. The style, the confidence, the elegance—Mom always had a flair for fashion, and clearly, it started young!

A rare and precious glimpse of Mom enjoying an afternoon nap with her beloved poodle, Sasha. Funny enough, Sasha was originally supposed to be Sam's dog, but she and Mom had other plans! The two became inseparable, sharing over 13 wonderful years of companionship. Sasha chose her person, and that was that! 🐾

This was one of Mom's first special memories after moving in with me in Florida. After a hospital stay, I wanted to cheer her up, and when I spotted a cotton candy stand at the mall, I knew just what to do. One unicorn, please!
The joy it brought her was priceless. She even let me take a picture—and we all know how rare that was!
Mom would be quick to tell you that steroids made her face a little fluffy, but all we see is that beautiful smile and the sparkle in her eyes. Such a simple surprise, such a precious memory. ❤️

A Sunset to Remember 🌅
It was a beautiful spring day in Central Florida, and with Melissa visiting, I wanted to get us all out of the house. So, off to the beach we went!
We enjoyed burgers, fries, and the most breathtaking sunset. The warm breeze, the sound of crashing waves, and the simple blessing of being together made this one of those moments we'll treasure forever. Nothing fancy, just love, laughter, and a memory sealed in our hearts. ❤️

When Life Hurts, Find the Perfect T-Shirt
One of those rare moments when Mom's wonderful sense of humor was captured on camera!
Later in life, Mom lived with a great deal of physical pain, yet she rarely complained. Instead, she found the perfect T-shirt to do the talking for her! And judging by that pose, she knew exactly how funny it was.
Looking back, I'm amazed by the quiet strength and grace she carried through decades of medical challenges. I see God's spirit shining through Mom more clearly now than ever before.
Even in her suffering, she found a reason to smile—and gave us one, too. ❤️

Reunited After All These Years
After more than a decade apart, Mom and her cherished friend Maribel were finally reunited in Florida! What a beautiful moment to see a friendship stand the test of time and distance. It was also such a treat for Christine to finally meet someone who held such a special place in Mom's heart. Even sweeter, Maribel has since become a dear friend to Christine, too. Some friendships are simply too special not to pass down through generations!
